02 · What reviewers see
A flag is never a verdict
NotAI does not accuse anyone. When a session looks automated, it assembles the evidence next to the submission and leaves the decision where it belongs: with a person.
Replay the session
The Session Player replays a submission from first keystroke to final submit. A reviewer sees exactly what was typed, pasted, or automated before anyone is contacted.
Weigh the score
Every flag carries a confidence score and the signals behind it, alongside the submission where grading already happens. The score informs; it never decides.
Decide with context
The final call follows your integrity process and is made by a person with the student's circumstances in hand. No decision is automated.
03 · Student privacy
Built to respect students
A tool that runs where students work has to clear a higher bar. The commitments below are published in full, so your counsel, your board, and your parent community can read exactly what they cover.
Scores the rhythm, never the words
Detection scores the timing of composition: keystroke rhythm, pauses, and corrections. It never judges what a student wrote, and it does not scan submissions for AI-sounding prose. See the AI transparency statement.
Nothing from the room
No webcam, no audio, and no facial recognition. Detection reads behavioral signals from the session itself, nothing from the room around the student.
Published commitments
Student data is governed by our Privacy Policy, a GDPR Article 28 Data Processing Agreement, and a Parents' Bill of Rights under New York Education Law 2-d. It stays in the region your institution selects (US or EU) and is never sold or used for advertising.
Fair to every typist
Unusual input alone condemns no one. Students who type slowly or use assistive technology can look atypical to any model, which is why a person reviews the full session, with accommodations and context in hand, before anything happens.
