How accurate is NotAI's detection?
NotAI uses behavioral analysis to distinguish human patterns from AI-generated or automated activity. While no detection system is 100% accurate, the methods we use make it significantly harder for AI-generated content to go undetected, and staying ahead of evolving AI capabilities is central to what we do.
Isn't this just another AI detector?
Traditional AI detectors rely on forensic linguistic analysis after content has been created. NotAI takes a fundamentally different approach: we monitor the actual creation of the document during composition, allowing us to detect AI behavior patterns instead of relying on what "sounds" human.
How do I know AI won't quickly be able to hide from your technology?
Staying ahead of AI evolution is our sole focus. Our detection algorithms are not static; they continuously improve based on the latest AI capabilities and emerging behavior patterns. As AI-generated content evolves, so do we.
Does NotAI work with Canvas LMS?
Yes. The NotAI Pixel installs on any website, including Canvas LMS hosted instances. The Text Monitor package captures authorship signals from rich-text editors (such as TinyMCE, Quill, CKEditor, and ProseMirror) used in discussion boards, essay submissions, and quiz responses. Is the data collection GDPR compliant?
Yes. NotAI requires you to choose a data region (US or EU) at signup, and your data is stored and processed exclusively in that region, permanently. We also provide mechanisms for user consent, data access requests, and right to deletion. See our Privacy Policy for details.

What's the difference between the Text Monitor and the NotAI Pixel?
The Text Monitor package analyzes how text is written (typing patterns, pauses, and corrections). The NotAI Pixel tracks browsing behavior (mouse movements, navigation patterns, and interaction timing). Both help identify AI or automated activity.
How do I regenerate my integration ID?
Log into your Dashboard, open Integrations, and click Regenerate. The integration ID is public by design and does not authenticate the sender, so regeneration is only needed if you want to retire a deployment, not as a security measure.
