Pixel

NotAI Pixel

A tracking pixel that detects AI agents and bots by analyzing visitor behavior: mouse movements, scroll patterns, keystroke timing, navigation paths, and other indicators of non-human activity.

Movement Analysis

Humans move cursors in curves and make micro-corrections. Bots move in straight lines at consistent speeds. We detect the difference.

Scroll Pattern Detection

Natural reading involves variable scroll speeds and pauses. AI agents scroll at mechanical rates.

Session Recognition

Build behavioral profiles across sessions to identify returning bots and distinguish legitimate users from AI agents and other automated activity.

Low-Friction Installation

A single async script. No user interaction required. Loads without blocking page render. Works silently in the background.

Package

Text Monitor Package

The Text Monitor captures the unique patterns of human writing: the pauses, corrections, and rhythm that distinguish authentic authorship from AI-generated content. Available as an opt-in feature of the NotAI pixel or as a standalone @isnotai/text-monitor package for sites that do not run the pixel.

Keystroke Analysis

Captures timing between keystrokes, identifying the natural hesitations and bursts that characterize human typing. Large pastes with no supporting keystroke activity are one of several signals that feed the classifier.

Authorship Orbs

A reviewer view that shows the composition of each submission as color-coded orbs across five authorship classes. Ships as part of the dashboard reviewer UI.

Session Player

A reviewer view that plays back a submission from first keystroke to final submit. Ships as part of the dashboard reviewer UI.

Works With Any Editor

Attaches to plain textareas, contenteditable elements, and rich-text editors. Native adapters for Quill and TinyMCE; universal content diffing covers any other editor. Install surfaces include generic websites, custom apps, and Canvas LMS.

Two Questions. Two Products.

NotAI offers two complementary approaches to verifying humanity. Pick one path per page: run the pixel with text monitoring enabled, or install the standalone Text Monitor package on sites that do not run the pixel.
